Scope

This document specifies an inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometric method for the determination of silver, aluminum, calcium, chromium, iron, manganese, sodium, nickel, strontium, zinc and zirconium contents in magnesium and magnesium alloys.
This method is applicable to the determination of content ranges (mass fraction) given in Table 1 in magnesium and magnesium alloys.
