Scope

This document defines a concept and principles for the creation and representation of cutting tool assembly information. This includes the cutting tool information exchanged between "assembly specification" systems (e.g. process planning phase), "physical tool management" systems (e.g. inventory planning and machining) and machining systems (CNC and simulation systems)
