Scope

This document specifies minimum requirements for manufacturing procedures and quality control of Astragalus mongholicus root aqueous extract granules (including compactates) prepared from the dried root of Astragalus membranaceus (Fisch.) Bge. var. mongholicus (Bge.) Hsiao.
It is applicable to Astragalus mongholicus root aqueous extract granules including compactates which are sold and used in the internationally.
