Scope

This document specifies the classification, basic term and definition of efficacy of commonly-used Chinese materia medica (CMM).
This document is available for all Chinese medicines including but not limited to herbal extracts, decoction pieces, prescriptions and health products, as well as traditional medicines based on TCM theory in the rest of the world.
